The DeWalt DC720KA 18v cordless drill receives a 7.7 overall rating. This is DeWalt’s classic compact NiCd model in the 18v class. Users give this tool a very positive rating of 4.3 stars out of 5 on Amazon. Its torque and speed are both above average which give the DC720KA solid performance.
On the downside, at 4.8 lbs, it is still pretty heavy for a compact model. The price tag is also similar to compact Li-Ion offerings.
