We give the DeWalt DC730KA 14.4v cordless drill an 8.5 overall rating. This model is quite good overall with a 4.4 overall rating out of 5 stars on Amazon and has very few negative complaints. It is powered by DeWalt’s XRP NiCD batteries which are rated at 2.4 Ah. The performance and weight are both better than the class average.
The price tag is bearable at under $170 and although there are 18v drills which produce more power and cost less, the positive user ratings make us say that we would recommend this 14.4v cordless drill.
