* DeWalt has a newer 18v Li-Ion model – the DCD980L2.
The DeWalt DCD940KX 18v cordless drill scores an 8.2 overall rating. This is DeWalt’s full size XRP NiCd 18 volt version. Its power output and speed rank near the top of the 18v class. Unfortunately so does the weight. At 6.2 pounds this thing is heavy.
We recommend you look at a Li-Ion cordless version instead of this NiCd battery style.
